Trauma Registry Vendor Community Embraces Support for the American College of Surgeons (ACS) CD 15-5 Risk-adjusted Benchmarking Requirements Conifer, CO 11/14/2018 - The trauma vendor community announces expanded support for ACS risk-adjusted benchmarking initiatives. In February of this year, the American College of Surgeons (ACS) revised the requirements for participation in risk-adjusted benchmarking programs. The revised ACS CD 15-5 policy does not require participation in ACS TQIP®. The trauma vendor community is committed to develop a new set of initiatives to help support ACS risk-adjusted benchmarking requirements, ACS verification, and the life-saving mission of the trauma registry community as a whole. A cornerstone of these initiatives by the trauma vendor community is a vendor funded national trauma repository that will be launched and made available for participation nationwide in 2019.…
